PART A — Category Baseline (General Minimum Standard)

A professional, information-dense consulting presentation benchmarked against leading strategy firms (McKinsey/BCG), with a premium editorial aesthetic.

Content and layout:

1. Rich data visualization: Fill pages with sophisticated, precise charts (stacked bars, waterfall charts, line charts) and detailed data tables with complete rows and columns.
2. Structured frameworks: Include strategy maps or 2×2 matrices constructed with fine, crisp lines.
3. High information density: Use complex, multi-column layouts that resemble real business-analysis presentations, rather than cover-style pages dominated by empty space.

Visual style:

1. Aesthetic: Balance a technology-forward feel with information density. Keep it clean, clear, and authoritative.
2. Typography: Use a bold sans serif for primary titles; chart labels and numerical data use the same sans family.
3. Color palette: Pure white background and pure black text; use deep navy blue for charts and graphic elements, with a range of grays to distinguish hierarchy.
4. Graphics: Use thin borders for tables and precise vector lines for charts.

Structure and discipline (distilled from work we consider best-in-class):

1. Every content-page title must be a complete assertion (a conclusion sentence), followed by a one-line scope/methodology subtitle stating what the page covers and how to read it.
2. Every content page must include a chapter breadcrumb/tab bar with the current chapter highlighted, so any page can be located within the overall storyline.
3. Use one named analytical framework per page, never a loose collage: a convergence-pressure column, a phased timeline with a TODAY marker and stage gates, a three-scenario table (conservative/base/accelerated), a Five Forces diagram, a heat table, a difficulty × impact 2×2 (with a watch zone), a three-part upstream/midstream/downstream value chain, or a multidimensional profile matrix—choose the framework to fit the content.
4. Present parallel evidence in 2–3 equal-width columns; number independent judgments (1/2/3), each with a bold assertion line and one concise explanatory sentence.
5. Chart-annotation discipline: Put data labels directly on marks; include growth/level callouts (such as “+42% p.a.”), TODAY markers, dashed lines for forecasts, and named monitoring indicators for uncertain variables. Never rely on the legend alone.
6. Close most pages with a synthesis strip at the bottom (“How to Read This Page” / “Profile Interpretation” / a one-sentence so-what) that converts the evidence above into a single takeaway.
7. Fixed page triad: source/footnote line at bottom left and page number at bottom right; never omit or treat them as decoration. Generated decks must never include watermarks, confidentiality notices/stamps, copyright lines, or logo placeholders.
8. Open with a one-page executive-summary overview followed by a numbered, paginated agenda; close with numbered conclusions (claims, not summaries) and an implications page divided by audience type (such as policymakers/operators/buyers), with each column ending in concrete actions.
9. Every number must include its unit, time range, and measurement basis; express uncertainty through observable monitoring indicators, not hedging language.

Default baseline (distilled from the layout skill; PART B may override): Content pages use dense, multi-column layouts and contain at least one complex chart or one multi-row, multi-column data table. Never use “one oversized sentence + vast empty space” as a content page. Construct framework diagrams (strategy maps/2×2/driver trees) with fine, crisp vector lines rather than stacked color blocks. Tables use thin borders with no heavy fills. Limit each page to ≤2 primary hues.

Title Read-Through Test: Reading only the titles across the deck should communicate the complete story; if they do not flow coherently, the structure is not working.

Priority note: This section defines the minimum baseline for consulting use cases. Where the signature system below (PART B) conflicts with it, the signature system takes precedence—especially for background, color, and typography. The typography and color guidance above serves only as a default where the signature system is silent.

Global Prohibitions (AI Defaults · Mandatory)

1. Do not default to cards: Unless the user explicitly requests them, do not use rounded rectangles or rectangular cards to create hierarchy or alignment—containers with a functional information role (status indicators, hypothesis boxes, quotation boxes) are not considered cards. Lines, whitespace, and differences in font size and weight are preferable.
2. Do not default to evenly divided compositions: Unless no other layout is viable, do not default to thirds, quarters, or 2×2 matrices. Equal division must be justified by the content structure (three scenarios naturally require three columns; frameworks explicitly named in the body are exempt).
3. Do not use arbitrary AI-default colors: A designated institutional palette specified in the content is exempt. The prohibition applies to generic, commonplace, unsupported defaults—blue-purple gradients, cyan-purple neon, rainbow flares, glass cards, and glowing borders.
4. Do not introduce elements that conflict with the overall style: No out-of-style treatments—for example, rounded icons or rounded rectangles within a sharp-edged visual system.
5. Keep chart backgrounds transparent: Use transparency or the page background, except when reversing content out on a dark background.
6. Do not leave blank regions: Leave no large empty block in the content area. Every planned region must be filled with real content; an underfilled region is the most serious form of visual roughness.

PART B — Signature System (Distinctive Template Signature; Overrides PART A in Case of Conflict)

Based on a small source sample of 6 slides.

One-sentence style signature: A moss-green-to-mint data narrative on a dark charcoal background, compressing a high-density transformation roadmap through short labels, conclusion-led headlines, and deep-green evidence blocks.

【Color Palette】Use an approximate #2C2C2C background that fills the canvas and overrides the white background in PART A. Use approximate #F3F3F3 for titles/primary text, including titles, table headers, and key figures. Use approximate #B7B7B7 for secondary text such as subtitles, footnotes, and axis labels, limited to a small number of text layers. Use #125E42 for section labels/table headers, only as short bars or phase bands. 【Layout Skeleton】Source facts: 960×540, 16:9. Content pages follow a fixed sequence: “top-left all-caps English section label—1–2-line conclusion-led title—1-line scope/methodology subtitle—thin divider—evidence area,” with the title area occupying approximately the top quarter. Depending on the content, use a 60/40 two-column evidence area, a three-column group of equal-width cards, or a full-width table, with narrow gutters and square, thin borders. Chapter location is indicated by a single green kicker, not a multi-item horizontal tab bar; when overriding the navigation in PART A, retain only the current section label. 【Density Baseline】Content pages in the sample typically contain 3–6 independent blocks: a two-column page contains 1 chart + 3 interpretations; a three-column page contains 3 cards, each with 3–4 text levels; the maturity table is approximately 5×5; the pilot page contains 3 cards + 3 metrics; and the roadmap spans 4 quarters × 3 rows. Use only 1 complex chart per page, or replace it with 1 table/1 card group. Bar charts place percentages inside bars; tables use short terms with dot-matrix levels; each roadmap cell contains 1–3 short statements. Explanatory blocks should be approximately 20–70 words/characters equivalent; titles should occupy 1–2 lines and subtitles 1 line. Reserve whitespace only for narrow bands between columns, between cards, and above the footer; do not leave large empty blocks in the content area.
